About Us
The Hearth – Mission
Too many schools have lost sight of balance. I’ve seen classrooms where favouritism rules — where some children are overlooked because they don’t fit a certain mould, while others are excused from consequences because they’re someone’s pet project. I’ve seen teachers bullied, reprimanded or quietly pushed aside for not playing the political game.
Meanwhile, as my old Boss used to say, “Y canol llonydd” — the quiet majority who just want to learn, or teach, with respect and purpose — are left behind.
The Hearth is my response. A place without politics or favouritism. A place where every learner is valued, supported, and challenged. Where progress isn’t about ticking boxes or fitting in, but about unlocking potential, step by step.
